Macao's non-gaming income continued to rise as the proportion of some gaming operators reached two digits percentage in 2016, the special administrative region (SAR)'s major gaming operators said Wednesday.
Macao's six biggest gaming players' representatives said the share of income from their non-gaming businesses in their total revenue will continue to increase, before attending a forum about their non-gaming activities.
Wynn Resorts Macau's Executive Director Linda Chen said the non-gaming revenue increase rates in Macao exceeded those of Las Vegas Strip.
Wynn Resorts Macau had 13 percent revenue from non-gaming in 2016, and continued to input resource to this area to attract more tourists.

In Macao's Five-Year Development Plan (2016-2020), the SAR government said that non-gaming revenue of the gaming industry should account for at least nine percent of operators' total income by 2020.
