China's sports industry is expected to increase its annual output value to nearly RMB7 trln by 2025, Liu Peng, head of the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC), China's top sports governing body, said at a conference held in Taiyuan on Monday.
The Xinhua-run Xinhuanet.com reported that 30 provincial governments had unveiled local guidelines on promoting sports consumption on the basis of the national guidelines on accelerating sports industry development and boosting sports consumption released by the State Council.
According to analysts of Qilu Securities, among A-share companies Lander Sports Development Co., Ltd (000558.SZ), Beijing Toread Outdoor Products Co., Ltd (300005.SZ) and China Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd (600158.SH) are likely to benefit.
