China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) announced on Tuesday that the comprehensive inventory coefficient for Chinese car dealers rose three percent month on month or ten percent year on year in September, to 1.56. In a breakdown, the coefficient for joint venture brands grew one percent month on month to 1.36; that for imported brands grew one percent month on month to 2.01; that for homebrew brands went up eight percent month on month to 2.04. The association said China's passenger car sales grew 23.41 percent month on month or 3.26 percent year on year in the month, to 1.75 million units.
