China's economic planner the National Development and Reform Commission is working on reform plans on oil, natural gas and other key sectors in an urgent manner, said Lian Weiliang deputy director with the NDRC.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Lian added that multi-tier pricing of residential natural gas has been adopted in 50 cities from 13 provinces or municipalities. Led by the NDRC and the National Energy Administration, a draft on oil and gas reform has been formed and the reform plan is expected to go public in 2015.
