Shanghai crude oil futures open higher

SHANGHAI, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Crude oil futures opened higher Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.

The most active crude oil contract for May 2021 delivery was up 5.3 yuan (about 81 U.S. cents) to open at 397 yuan a barrel.

China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investors, in March 2018.
