The Air China airline started using an Airbus 330-300 plane for commercial service on its Manila-Beijing route on Sunday.
Air China flew from Beijing to Manila three times a week on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. With increased demand on passenger capacity, the Chinese flagship airline decided to replace the old model with new A330 aircraft.
The new A330 aircraft will increase its capability to carry passengers from Philippines to the world via Beijing hub by around 80 percent. With heavier payload, the new plane also provides passengers with lie-flat seats in business class, personal TV screens and increased legroom in economy class.
