Developing integrated circuit is an inevitable choice for China, said Diao Shijing, director general of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT)'s Electronics and Information Department, in a forum held on Tuesday. Diao noted that industrial restructuring, change of innovation mode and optimization of production organization pattern all urged China to develop integrated circuit.
