The National Energy Administration (NEA) earlier released a notice to raise the nationwide PV power station construction scale for 2015 by 5.3 million kw, which included 200MW for east China's Jiangsu province, according to a source with the provincial government.
This brought Jiangsu's full-year PV construction capacity to 1.2GW, accounting for 5.2 percent of the country's total capacity for 2015. In terms of PV station construction scale, Jiangsu thus ranked seventh among China's provinces and regions after Xinjiang, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Qinghai and Anhui. Statistics show that Jiangsu province added power installed capacity of 7.5902GW in the first three quarters of this year, including 768.2 MW of PV power capacity.
