BEIJING, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- The overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor), which measures the borrowing cost of China's interbank market, decreased 44.4 basis points to 1.607 percent Wednesday.

The seven-day rate went down 1.8 basis points to 2.193 percent, the one-month rate went up 3.4 basis points to 2.502 percent, and the one-year rate rose 0.6 basis points to 2.988 percent.
