The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 121 yen zone in early trading on Monday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 121.26-27 yen compared with 121.12-22 yen in New York and 121.79-81 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday. The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0869-0870 dollars and 131.81-82 yen against 1.0866-0876 dollars and 131.70-80 yen in New York and 1.0866-0868 dollars and 132.34-38 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
