Mr. Cai ESheng serves as Chairman of Finance Center for South-South Cooperation, and Executive Director of China Society for Finance and Banking since 2014. Mr. Cai joined People’s Bank of China (PBC) in 1975, served as Assistant to Governor from 1998, Assistant to Governor and Governor of PBC Shanghai Branch from 2000, then he acted as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for China Everbright Group and Citic Group Corporation from May 2001,worked as Vice Chairman of China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) from 2005 to 2013. He was elected as member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in 2013. Mr. Cai holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Shanxi University of Finance and Economics.
