Dr. Lu Ting joined Huatai Securities in May as the Global Head of Research and Global Head of Institutional Sales and Trading. Previously Dr. Lu served at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch as Managing Director and Head of Greater China Economics.

Dr Lu has been ranked a top economist in a number of surveys, including No.1 in Economics in All-Asia and All-China Institutional Investor Surveys in 2013, 2014 and 2015; No.1 in China Country Category in All-Asia Institutional Investor Surveys in 2014 and 2015; No. 1 in Economics in Asiamoney Survey in 2013 and The Asset Best economists and credit strategists in 2013.

Dr. Lu Ting holds BA and MA in Economics from Peking University, and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He’s also a CFA Charter holder.
