The National Energy Administration (NEA) will formulate a five-year coal industry development plan to guide the industry's development during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), said Wang Xiaolin, deputy head with the NEA.
The country will "scientifically" control national coal output and speed up adjusting coal industry structure, said Wang. The NEA was recently carrying out special researches in coal-rich provinces such as Shanxi and Guizhou to study key problems in coal industry development.
