Guizhou province in southwest China is planning to build eight branch lines for natural gas transmission in 2016-2020.
The eight branch lines, with total length of 1,810 kilometers, will cover five cities and prefectures in Guizhou that have not had access to natural gas. In 2016-2020, energy industry development of Guizhou province will focus on natural gas development.
According to Guizhou's natural gas pipeline network plan for 2016-2020, natural gas pipeline network would cover more than 80 percent of cities and towns in Guizhou by 2020 to benefit an 18 million population.
