China will strive to build free trade zones (FTZ) with all neighboring countries and regions to deepen multilateral economic and trade ties and create a big win-win market, said an official of the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.
The official made the remarks to interpret Chinese cabinet - the State Council's guidelines on speeding implementation of the FTZ strategy, which blueprinted FTZ construction with surrounding areas, alongside the "Belt and Road" and around the world. Under the drive, China will actively negotiate with countries alongside the "Belt and Road" for constructing FTZs, with at the same time considerations for constructing FTZs in surrounding regions and boosting international production capacity cooperation, to form the "Belt and Road" market.
China will also make keen effort to set up FTZs with a majority of emerging economies, large developing countries, major regional economic groupings and part of developed countries to found the BRICS market, emerging economies market and developing nation market so as to gradually form a global FTZ network.
