Optimal Plus Ltd.(Optimal +), a global big data analysis service provider, has got 42 million US dollar investment mainly from international investment institution - KKR, according to KKR on Friday. Accompanying KKR was the present shareholders of Optimal + and two venture capital (VC) funds of Israel - Carmel Ventures and Pitango, said KKR, noting that it would be the main capital source for Optimal +'s global expansion plan and open its global business resources and technology experts resources to the latter.
Optimal Plus Ltd. was created by its CEO - Dan Glotter in Tel Aviv in 2005 and has been growing at a rapid pace in the past four years, focusing mainly on big data analysis solutions for semiconductor sector. KKR has been actively engaged in investment in high-tech firms for a long while and since 2000, it has invested over 13 billion US dollar in 49 companies from software, the Internet, media, and IT infrastructure.
