International chemical company BASF has expanded production capacity of tBA to 16,000 tonne/year from 10,000 tonne/year in east China's Nanjing city, Jiangsu province.
The capacity expansion is aimed at meeting increasing demands for tyre additives in Asia and Pacific.
BASF targets to have 75 percent of demands to be met by local capacity by 2020, said Hou Yuzhe, president of BASF's Asian and Pacific operations.
