Ma Steel (600808.SH) is able to produce food-grade tin-plating or chrome-plating steel sheet and belt, and the first batch of products are highly welcomed by clients, the company has said.
The special steel product is widely used in production of food cans, packaging materials and stamping containers. China used to rely on imports for such special steel and started to develop the technology 10 years ago.
