China's smart wearable device maker AltoTech said on Friday it plans to formally roll out China's first smart glasses with augmented reality function next Wednesday. The smart glasses product, called Cool Glass, enables users to make phone calls, send short messages, take photos, record videos, and share the photos and videos at their social media accounts without handset operation.
AltoTech is funded by Chinese IT enterprise Shenzhen Fenda Technology Co., Ltd. (002681.SZ). It equips the Cool Glass with the dual-core CPU supplied by Ingenic Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (300223.SZ).
