Sinopec Jiujiang Company, a subsidiary of China's top oil refiner Sinopec Corp. (SNP.NYSE; 00386.HK; 600028.SH), recently started the construction of an 80,000-tonne/year facility to producer ethylbenzene and styrene, said a release by Sinopec Group.
The facility would use self technologies and raw materials generated by Jiujiang refinery, which is undergoing expansion of production capacity. Covering an area of 17,072 square meters, the facility would see mechanical handover by the end of November 2016.
