China Merchants Securities (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd., was formally put into operation in London on October 12, China Securities Journal reported on Tuesday.
The company is mainly dedicated to providing 24-hour commodities trade service for both Chinese and global commodities enterprises and financial institutions, said Jian Yaoguang, Chief Executive Officer of China Merchants Securities (UK).was incorporated in London in June 2013 and got a membership in London Metals Exchange (LME) in November 2014. It later got the membership in Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in May 2015.
