Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd (600688.SH), a subsidiary of China's top refiner Sinopec Corp. (SNP.NYSE; 00386.HK; 600028.SH), Thursday reported 2.246 billion yuan of profits in the first three quarters of 2015 in comparison of 152 million yuan of losses in the same period of 2014.
Meanwhile, the company had 61.558 billion yuan of operating revenues, down 19.76 percent year on year. The company forecasted that it would register profits in 2015 rather than 692 million yuan of losses in 2014.
