GEM Co., Ltd. (002340.SZ) announced on Wednesday it inked an agreement with the government of Jinmen city on Tuesday to add one billion yuan investment in the city.
The company will use the investment in the construction of a 35,000-tonne motor power battery anode material project and an industrial solid waste landfill center with inventory totaling 1.6 million cubic meters. It will also proactively boost the Internet plus sorting and recycling action of Jinmen city, participate in the city's ecological governance project, and establish its urban mine cycle industry headquarters and research and development headquarters in the city.
Jinmen's government will provide various resource and policy supports for GEM, according to the agreement.
