Shanghai Oriental Pearl Media Co., Ltd (600637.SH) announced on late Thursday that it signed memorandums of cooperation with the Japanese private equity fund company, Whiz Partners, and the Japanese leading game middleware technological service provider, CRI Middleware, to explore cooperation opportunities in fields of game IP, game R&D, game testing, and game distribution.
Under the memorandum of cooperation with the Whiz Partners, the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Media will work with the Whiz Partners to introduce the Japanese leading-edge game enterprises and technological services to the "family game industry incubation base" on which the Shanghai-listed company cooperates with the government of Shanghai Minhang District.
In addition, the two sides will set up the family game joint management fund to invest in the game base. Under the memorandum of cooperation with the CRI Middleware, the two sides will cooperate in the middleware business and content business.
