AVCON Information Technology Co., Ltd. (300074.SZ) on Friday denied a market rumor that Zhou Xiaochuan, chairman of the company's Board of Supervisors, is the same person as China's central bank governor, who is also named Zhou Xiaochuan. The company said in a statement issued on the midday of Friday that Zhou Xiaochuan, born in 1971, is one of the initiator shareholders of the company. He is now holding a 1.33 percent stake in the company.
