Hisense Group, parent company of Hisense Electric Co., Ltd. (600060.SH), put a smart TV product equipped with China's first self-developed quality engine chip on market on Wednesday.
The quality engine chip is called Hi-View Pro. It is designed to sharply improve the dynamic range, dynamic contrast, color gamut, clarity and fluency of movement of LCD TV screens.
Huang Weiping, chairman of Hisense's chip subsidiary, said the quality engine chip will further improve the core competitiveness of Hisense's ULED TV products.
He said the company will produce one million units of Hi-View Pro in the first year, and expand its market scope to the healthcare, graphics and cinema monitoring areas.
