Beijing Shiji IT Co., Ltd. (002153.SZ) announced on Wednesday that because its important partner MICROS was fully bought by Oracle and merged into Oracle's system, the Beijing-base company signed an agreement with Oracle lately.
Beijing Shiji IT's cooperation with MICROS/Oracle will be continued under a new pattern, the access of the Chinese firm's reservation platform to Oracle's products will be maintained and its cooperation with Oracle will be broader. As a platinum partner of Oracle, a win-win cooperation pattern will help Beijing Shiji IT realize stable transition from software service provider to platform operator, help it enter the full-service industry from the hotel and catering sector and go global.
The agreement between Beijing Shiji IT and Oracle are not likely to generate significant influence on the Chinese company's financial status and operation.
