The annual liquor output of Kweichow Moutai Distillery (Group) Co. Ltd. has topped 38,700 tonnes, according to latest statistics released by the group.
Maotai group has maintained steady growth in 2015 and its listed subsidiary, Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd. (600519.SH), posted a sales revenue of 23.15 billion yuan in the first nine months of this year, up 6.59 percent year on year, and the net profit attributable to shareholders grew 6.84 percent to 11.43 billion yuan.
Now, total assets of the group were nearly 100 billion yuan. The distillery has accelerated the exploration of overseas markets over the past few years. The group's export value exceeded 200 million U.S. dollars for the first time in 2014. In the first three quarters of this year, the group exported Kweichow Moutai liquor of 958.27 tonnes, up 27.5 percent year on year.
