A leading group on deepening reform with China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the parent company of China's top oil and natural gas producer PetroChina (PTR.NYSE; 00857.HK; 601857.SH), Thursday approved operation and management rules with natural gas storage bases in principle, said a release by CNPC on Friday.
Natural gas and pipeline arm with PetroChina would be responsible for the management of natural gas storage sites, said the CNPC.
In the near term, CNPC would study on settlement of purchase, sales, injection and collection fees with gas storage bases.The leading group also nodded guidance on optimizing integrated management of refining, sales and trading operations in principle.
