Baoding Tianwei Baobian Electric Co. (600550.SH) announced on Friday that it had won the bid for equipments supply for State Grid's Ximeng-Taizhou, Shanghaimiao-Shandong ±800KV ultra-high-voltage (UHV) projects.
According to a statement by State Grid, Tianwei Baobian will supply 28 electrical transformers to the two projects, which involve 1.73 billion yuan, or equivalent to 44.42 percent of Tianwei Baobian's revenue in 2014.
Tianwei Baobian said that the bid was still in the publicity period, and it has not yet signed a formal contract with the State Grid.
