German carmaker Mercedes-Benz will recall 16 vehicles in China with defective clutches, according to China's quality watchdog.
The affected vehicles are 2016 A, GLA and CLA series, manufactured between Oct. 22, 2015 and Nov. 4, 2015, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement.
Mercedes-Benz will also recall 12 vehicles, including 2015 AMG and GT series, manufactured between June 9, 2015 and July 22, 2015, due to defective carbon fiber driveshafts.
The recall will start from July 19 and the company will replace the defective parts free of charge.
