Listed companies’ equipment shows on PLA's 90th anniversary

On July 30, China held the first military parade at Zhurihe training base in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), Xinhua News Agency reported. Nine battle groups of land operations, information operations, special operations, air defense and anti-missile, maritime operations, air operations, comprehensive security, anti-terrorism stability, strategic strike, are on parade.

A number of listed companies said on their Wechat accounts and the interactive platform on July 30 that some of their equipment has been on display on the parade. Xiamen Kehua Hengsheng Co., Ltd. (002335.SZ) said that driven by the military-civilian integration strategy, based on power electronics technologies, the company has highlighted its own advantages, deepen the development of military-civilian integration to become the first to get qualifications in participating in the military industry to become an intelligent electricity leader in the military industry. Kehua Hengsheng provides reliable power supply for relevant activities for the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the PLA.

In a response to investors on the interaction platform, Zhejiang Shibao Company Limited (002703.SZ) that the company provided steering gear for some vehicles in the parade.

Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (600006.SH) said that 187 of military vehicles produced by the company participated in the parade. Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (000157.SZ) said that the company is the only equipment manufacturer that helps the China Central Television’s live broadcast of the parade.

Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) said that all fighters in the parade are independently developed and produced by the company. China North Industries Group Corporation said that over 20 models of the company participated in the parade.

Hubei Kelong Chemical Group (002783.SZ) announce on July 24 noon that the company was invited by Beijing Yangjing Automobile Co., Ltd. to participate in the exhibition for marking the PLA’s 90th founding anniversary during August 1 Army Day. The exhibition will showcase the launcher truck for the "Tiger" wheeled armor multi-purpose patrol aircraft and patrol aircraft jointly developed by the company and Yangjing Automobile.

The 21st Century Business Herald reported that relevant departments will introduce a package of policies to accelerate the development of military-civilian integration. Zou suggested that investors can pay attention to companies with clear equity ownership and good asset conditions that match with the group’s top design and plan. With the end of the effect brought by the military reform, the cycle for new equipment under the new system will come, and an increase in equipment orders will bring opportunities to companies’ fundamentals. In addition, as the military-civilian integration will be launched soon, Zou are bullish about civilian enterprises that participated in the information technology application and high-end processing and manufacturing in the military industry.
