Austrian Airlines on Thursday reported 13.3 percent increase in passenger numbers for the year up to October, that could see it reach a record by year's end.
In a press release, the flag-carrier airline stated that almost 11 million passengers were transported in the first 10 months of the year.
The average plane occupancy rate increased by 1.2 percent to 77.8 percent over the same period.
October had also been a strong month, seeing an 8.7 percent year-on-year increase in passenger numbers, which was about 1.2 million in total.
The airline's administration anticipates it will surpass the 12 million passenger mark by the end of December.
