U.S. leading aircraft manufacturer Boeing Company Wednesday released a report on its fourth quarter revenues in 2017, which grew about nine percent from the same period of previous year.

Boeing said in a statement that its revenues for the fourth quarter ending on Dec. 31, 2017 rose to 25.37 billion U.S. dollars, a nine-percent growth from 2016, and its net income nearly doubled to 3.13 billion U.S. dollars from 1.63 billion dollars a year ago.

The Chicago-based aerospace giant registered about 93.4 billion dollars in revenues for the full of 2017, up one percent over a year ago.

With an upbeat forecast for 2018, Boeing expects to deliver 810 to 815 commercial aircrafts this year, which would possibly increase 47 more jets from last year.
Boeing delivered a record 763 jets to its customers across the world in 2017.
