The Cobalt Air has appointed Petros Souppouris as its new CEO, replacing Andrew Madar, a source confirmed on Thursday.
Souppouris, the company's former flight operation director, took the office of Madar, who had taken the post almost two years ago, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The replacement was also confirmed by the Cypriot Civil Aviation Authority, who has been notified by Cobalt.
Cobalt is Cyprus's main airline. It flies to more than 20 destinations, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Athens in major European countries, and cities in Middle East like Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.
