China's Capital Airlines on Monday announced to launch the first direct air route linking Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, with the Russian capital Moscow.
The first flight will depart from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday and arrive at Sheremetyevo International Airport at 3:20 p.m. local time, according to Capital Airlines.
The round trip flights will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday by an A330 wide-body aircraft.
Beijing-based Capital Airlines operates multiple long-haul intercontinental direct air routes from Hangzhou to destinations including Madrid, Vancouver, and Saipan.
