Aviva-COFCO Life Insurance Co Ltd will continue to build human resources management platform for companies, aiming to expand its business in the employee welfare domain, according to the firm's top management on Friday.
The company has just held the fourth human resources summit in Beijing, hoping to help enterprises to communicate and improve human resources management practices, according to Yu Ning, president of Aviva-COFCO Life Insurance.
As a joint venture enterprise founded by Aviva Group and COFCO Group in 2003, the company is focused on becoming a leading digitalized insurer, aiming to provide diversified products and services to different groups of clients, he said.
"Enterprises are facing increasing challenges posed by human resources management due to its growing volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity," said Wang Zhiying, director of Human Resources of COFCO Group. "The need to help organizations to be better prepared for a changing business environment has become greater than ever."
According to an industrial report from LinkedIn, the average period spent in each job by a Chinese worker has fallen from 34 months in 2014 and 2015 to 26 months in 2016 and 2017.
"With the accelerating flow of human capital, the traditional model for human resources management needs to be updated," said Zhou Desheng, vice-president of FESCO, a firm focused on providing human resources service. "Enterprises should employ digitalized platform for further transformation in the future."
