Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina, 601669.SH) signed new contracts valuing about 396.40 billion yuan in the first ten months this year, up 3.07 percent year on year, according to its newly-published sales presentation.
The company's newly signed contracts in domestic market amounted to 276.15billion yuan from January to October this year, down 0.73 percent year on year, while the total value of new overseas contracts signed by the company was 120.25 billion yuan, an increase of 13 percent.
Contracts in water conservancy and hydropower engineering at home and abroad were valued at 142.85 billion yuan during the period, said the company.
In October, PowerChina won the biddings for three projects each with a contract value of more than 500 million yuan, with these projects located in Anhui, Sichuan and Guangdong provinces.
The company signed nine new contracts each with a contract value of more than 500 million yuan in October. To be specific, it signed new contracts worth 591 million yuan and 1.043 billion yuan for the 50MWand 100MWwind power plants of Loma Blancain Argentina, respectively.
