Saudi Arabian Oil Company Aramco announced on Wednesday the creation of a wholly-owned subsidiary to expand its network of domestic fuel retail stations in the kingdom.
The newly created company, the Saudi Aramco Retail Company (RetailCo), will grow its operations in the automotive fuel segment.
It is expected to create a premium network of domestic fuel retailing stations to uplift the sector's standards and provide an enhanced customer experience.
The company "will leverage synergies in our business model and position to actively participate in the customer-oriented segment of the downstream value chain," said Abdulaziz Al-Judaimi, Aramco's senior vice president of downstream.
"By instituting a customer-focus culture and being combined with premium fuels and services, RetailCo will strive to exceed its customers' expectations to ensure long-term sustainable business," Al-Judaimi added.
