HEFEI, April 11 (Xinhua) -- A total of 600 Ankai-branded buses manufactured by Chinese bus maker Anhui Ankai Automobile departed Hefei, capital of east China's Anhui Province, on Wednesday to be delivered to Saudi Arabia.
The 12-meter-long, three-door buses have five seats in a row and meet the high demands for comfort and space from Saudi customers, said Zhang Haiyang, a sales manager at Ankai.
Ankai has exported nearly 7,000 buses to the Saudi market so far, including school buses, buses for public transport, tourism and pilgrimages, to become a main force in the country's road transport.
