In the company's biggest ever urban construction deal, over the next 10-15 years Lendlease will develop up to 1.4 million square meters of residential, retail, hospitality and other services to support new Google office space in three key areas.
"This joint agreement between Google and Lendlease will help address the need for new housing in the San Francisco Bay Area," Lendlease Americas Chief Executive Denis Hickey said. Subject to planning approval, construction on the project may begin as early as 2021.
