SHENZHEN, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese property developer China Vanke Co., Ltd. said Thursday it earned a net profit of 18.24 billion yuan (2.6 billion U.S. dollars) in the January-September period, an annual increase of 30.4 percent.
During the nine months, its revenue rose 27.2 percent year on year to 223.91 billion yuan, Vanke said in its quarterly financial report filed to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
In the third quarter, the developer reaped a net profit of 6.4 billion yuan, up 31.6 percent, and generated a revenue of 84.6 billion yuan, up 20.8 percent.
During the first three quarters, Vanke's contracted property sales rose 10.2 percent to 475.61 billion yuan.
