In a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the financial conglomerate said it generated a revenue of 892.75 billion yuan, an annual increase of 18.6 percent, during the January-September period.
Of all its major businesses, the life and health insurance business earned a net profit of about 92 billion yuan, while the property insurance business and banking business contributed 16 billion yuan and 13.7 billion yuan, respectively.
Ping An's individual clients had increased by 9.5 percent from the year's beginning to reach more than 200 million by the end of September.
