COPENHAGEN, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Denmark's Astralis Group, the stable for professional online gaming esports teams, became tradeable on the First North stock exchange, NASDAQ's First North Growth Market Denmark, on Monday at a market value of over 500 million Danish krones (74 million U.S. dollars).

This branding and media company operates three strong team brands: Future FC, which plays FIFA online football; the Origen team, which plays League of Legends; and Astralis, the world's best Counter Strike team.

First North is a division of NASDAQ Nordic and an alternative stock exchange for smaller companies in Europe.

The Astralis Group is the market leader in a global growth industry. The purpose of the initial public offering (IPO) is to strengthen the Astralis Group's international position through further investments in the company's brands.
