The revenue represented 13 percent year-over-year growth or 15 percent in constant currency.
The San Jose, California-based company said it had a net income of 2.42 dollars per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 3.40 dollars per share.
Its GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) operating income in the third quarter was 1.48 billion U.S. dollars, and non-GAAP operating income was 1.96 billion dollars. GAAP net income was 1.14 billion dollars, and non-GAAP net income was 1.60 billion dollars.
