China's producer price index (PPI), a measure of the country's wholesale factory prices, dropped 5.9 percent on a yearly basis in October, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Tuesday, unchanged from a 5.9 percent year-on-year fall in September.
October marked the 44th straight month that China saw a negative growth in PPI. On a monthly basis, PPI fell 0.4 percent, the same rate as in September.
