Chinese enterprises participated in more railway construction programs abroad, said Li Pumin, secretary general of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the top economic planner Thursday.

Earlier this month, the China Railway Group-led consortium has signed a cooperative pact with US firm XpressWest Enterprises to build high-speed rail line linking Las Vegas with Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Chinese businesses also took part in construction of several key railway programs abroad, say, a railway connecting Brazil's Atlantic coast to Peru's Pacific coast, the Moscow-Kazan high-speed rail project, the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed rail program, the China-Laos railway, and the Serbia-Hungary high-speed railway.

Besides, China has set up and been striving to found production capacity cooperation funds of more than 75 billion yuan, including the already in-place China-Latin America production capacity cooperation fund and to be established China-France mutual fund on third party market cooperation and China-Europe mutual investment fund.
