China's services sector contributed 54.8 percent of the national tax incomes in 2015, according to Wang Baoan, head of National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) Wednesday. What's more, the sector's tax contributions growth accounted for 80 percent of the gross tax income increase in China in 2015.
It was also noteworthy that tax incomes contributed by Internet-related services jumped 19 percent from a year ago. As Wang said, the growing services industry was a necessary condition for China to adjust economic structure and an important signal of realizing strategic development goals.
