Germany's semiconductor solution supplier Infineon Technologies AG began to build its second Chinese factory in Wuxi, east China's Jiangsu province, on Thursday.
The new factory will involve a total investment of 290 million US dollars and engage an area of about 36,000 square meters. It will mainly produce high-end semiconductor devices and semiconductor module products. The construction will be completed by the end of 2016. By then, the factory will have an annual sales value of three billion yuan.
