Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Tuesday released a policy document in a bid to develop non-state economy, said a report by Shanghai Securities News on Wednesday.

Xinjiang would crank up support for the private sector in tapping overseas market, highlighting outbound investment and building overseas economic and trading cooperation zones as well as various industrial parks. Private players would be supported in participating reform of state-owned enterprises and developing mix-owned economy.

An investment project database would be established for non-state capital and quality cooperation projects would be rolled out in the fields of petroleum, natural gas, power, railway, resource development and other areas.
